Guru Purnima coincides with a partial lunar eclipse on 5th July 2020.

This is happening in the Sign of Sagittarius, Purvashada Nakshatra.

This is going to be the third Lunar Eclipse of the year.

It is also important to know that a lunar eclipse occurs only on the full moon night.

Every year the Guru Purnima occurs when the full moon happens in the Sign of Sagittarius ruled by the planet Jupiter also known as “Guru” .

Guru Purnima is celebrated in honoring of our teachers, guides, masters and the wisdom that they offer us in our lives

We all know how the planet Jupiter protects the earth from asteroids that can cause harm to it by its powerful magnetic pull . Similarly in Jyotish Jupiter has been referred as the highest Benefic.

Please note that Jupiter during its retrograde , will be shifting from its sign of debilitation , Capricorn to its Own Sign of Sagittarius motion on 30th June 2020.

This will be beneficial for most of us.

The eclipse is going to be partial, meaning that only a portion of the Moon is going to disappear.

A lunar eclipse is basically an amplified full moon signifying the ending / shift of the stagnant energy after a emotional break through.

Full moons Eclipses always represent Renewal Or Letting Go.

If you’re looking forward to quit a job or shift from a home that hasn’t been working for a while, get ready to hit a breaking point.

The moon is already in a afflicted state as an eclipse happened a month ago also .

And moon still remains in an afflicted state for another 15 days because of another eclipse taking place.

People who have afflicted/weak moon in their charts should be more careful during the Lunar Eclipses.

They can go through a lot of negative thoughts and irrational fears during Lunar Eclipses.
